PURLINS & BATTENS
Purlins and battens are a cost effective alternative to timber. Available in a range of sizes and gauges and cut to length making them ideal for a multitude of applications.
PURLINS
Parnell’s manufacture an extensive range of galvanised “C” and “Z” purlins. These can be ordered cut to length to save you hassle on site. We also offer a punching option if required. All of our purlins are a G450/Z350 material and are available in many gauges.

BATTENS
Our metal roof battens are a cost-effective alternative to timber. Made from high tensile steel, they are strong, lightweight, and remain straight throughout their lifetime. They are also easy to install, simple to align, and compatible with all roof claddings.
CEILING BATTENS
Our 22mm Ceiling Battens are made from strong durable steel to help control the movement in your rafters and stop your plasterboard from cracking. For use on all types of domestic ceiling boards; our ceiling battens are lightweight, easy to install and cost effective.
ROOF BATTENS
Our steel 40mm Roof Battens are the perfect alternative to timber. Made from hi-tensile steel, they are strong, lightweight and cost effective. They are also easy to install, align and are compatible with all roof cladding profiles.
TOP HAT BATTENS
Our Top Hat Roof Battens feature a textured surface, making for easy installation and better efficiency when installing the cladding. Made from hi-tensile steel, our Top Hat Roof Battens are strong, weather-proof and durable; making them perfect even for the toughest of environments. We offer a variety of sizes to fit any application.
